Wingate by Wyndham Lethbridge

We got a jacuzzi suite. Very large room with a beautiful sunset view. Very accommodating. We wished the pool wasn't so cold and that the hottub was warmer but we just enjoyed the jacuzzi instead. Very close to what we had planned as well. (Dinner at the Water Tower and a movie at Galaxy Cinema). Not the fanciest suite in comparison to others we've stayed at but very enjoyable all in all. Definitely NOT worth staying on say a Friday night compared to a Sunday. The room Friday would've been twice the price. Still paid $210 for the night. No extras.

Rooms large , Beds comfortable , house keeping each day, good pressure in shower very skimpy on towels provided . Continental breakfast hot and fresh decent hours, down fall staff is not the friendliest normally I tip the staff and there was no way I was this time. Pool is decent size but quite cold and hot tub warm but smaller. Water slide a blast thou. Weirdly you have to walk across front lobby to get to it and pool towels from reception and return there Not the greatest set up. location is amazing for so many things down fall Parking is brutal and no where near enough for all guests. Would I stay again YES is it my favorite No.

The staff here is wonderful. They are incredibly helpful and kind. I always stay at this hotel when I’m in Lethbridge. Breakfast is always delicious and the rooms are so clean and comfortable. And it’s super close the great downtown restaurants!

Stayed here with our pups. Staff was friendly, hotel clean. They are very tight about security at night which made us wonder how safe the area actually was but it is close to everything downtown. Parking lot does fill up when busy so street parking is available. Breakfast had quite a few options. Room we were in was clean but worn. Kitchenette had a couple glasses and a couple plates. While dog friendly they do not have any bowls so make sure to pack your own. Laundry is on the top floor and seems pricy but the cost is for washing and drying within the set time period. The machines only take loonies but the front desk can provide change.n

Had an overnight stop over in Lethbridge and stylated at the Wyndham Hotel, and it was great! The staff were super friendly and the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've had. Only suggestion would be to give the swimming pool a good cleaning, the tiles were a little dirty... But great experience overall.

Staff were very pleasant Check in | Check out were both very easy. Easy to find, close to main highway on/off ramps Adequate amount of parking Breakfast was ok, it was enough to tide us over until we found a proper breakfast. Breakfast buffets like this are geared to kids imo Room was nice, sizable with a separate sitting area, bathroom was clean and shower was powerful The bed was comfortable however the pillows were paper-thineven if folded in half, the air con in the room sounded like a Harley

This is an older hotel, and should be 3 1/2 stars. Its parking lot is inadequate for the size of the hotel, and it only has 2 handicapped parking spaces, that are against a curb. The curb makes it difficult exiting a vehicle. I need handicap parking, but the stalls were taken, during my stay. By 6pm, the lot was full. The hotel is located downtown, near the homeless shelter. Homeless people wander through the parking lot, looking inside cars. The hotel needs full time security, to keep the cars, and guests, safe. Parking is available on the street, and the hotel will pay for your parking, but I didn’t feel safe parking on the street. The hotel has an odd layout. The main desk is on the east end of the hotel, instead of located in the middle. I’m somewhat handicapped, so I can’t walk distances. That meant I needed a room near the elevator, and EVERYONE on my floor walked by my room, on their way to their room. The sound of normal footsteps, carry into the rooms, and children running are very loud. I could hear every word spoken by the men in the room ACROSS the hall. I requested a quiet room when I booked directly with the hotel, but was given an adjoining room. I asked for a different room, and was told, they didn’t have any other rooms available. The beds were nice, and the room had blackout blinds, that kept the room pitch black. The weather was hot, but the a/c kept the room cool. Free breakfast was better than most hotels. My biggest complaint was the bathtub in my bathroom. I’m elderly, and short. The tub is extremely deep. It looked brand new, but the sides were so high, that it was unsafe for me to shower. I went to my daughter’s for a shower, because I couldn’t climb over the side of the tub. I’ve never needed a handicap room, but at this hotel I needed one, but they didn’t have any available. The towels were also a problem. For a room with 2 queen beds, we had 2 facecloths, and 3 skimpy towels. I requested extra facecloths and towels, because my grandkids stayed with me. They took my towels and left 2 brown facecloths & 2brown towels, with bleach stains. The pool towels are also terrible. Pool towels are only available at the front desk, and they are the size of a hand towel, but slightly longer, and almost see through. I waited almost 10 minutes for a pool towel, because guests were checking in. Ask for 2 or 3 pool towels per person, or BYOT’s. The pool is a nice size, and the water slide is a 10. If you have kids or grandkids, old enough to enjoy a waterside, this hotel might be worth it. The pool has easy access for people with mobility issues, but kids will splash you when using the water slide. Staff are wonderful, but inadequate. There was only one person at the front desk at a time, on a long weekend. The hotel also needs a dog warning. I’m allergic to dogs, and dogs are in the elevators, in the halls, and in the rooms. I had a fairly serious asthma attack on day 2. There was a blind, elderly dog, behind the desk. Staff touch the dog, and then touch your pool towels, room keys, credit card, and anything else you need. The desk clerk was sitting behind the desk, holding the dog, on both evenings, when we asked for towels. If you are allergic to dogs, this hotel could be a problem. If you need a dog friendly hotel, this is the hotel for you.

The rooms are huge. Beds are super comfy. Very clean. Some rooms have a balcony. Location is close to a shopping center.
